The painting took many turns. But where it started was a want to connect with my art in a way that was less technical and more connected to the peace and oasis art can create for me even in  the storms that life can throw at you. A way to create, feel, and release without feeling the need to be over critical of the concept before its even begun.
 
This painting started as a thank you for a treasured mosaic piece of my life. A chapter that closed but was cherished in so many ways and as the different stages of grief hit the message behind the painting morphed and changed with it leading to a stagnate period where it sat around for months. Then I broke my arm and I needed an outlet for that frustration and the painting pivoted once again. Leading all in all to being a painting that helped my process the emotions that weren't always easy to sit with. Those time when all you can really say is “ Fucking Hell”
